Services
What insects or pests do you treat?
There are a variety of pests found in New Hampshire, but the most common pests clients contact us about are: ants, wasps, spiders, lady beetles, stink bugs, cluster flies, mice, and rats. The most common wildlife entering homes are bats and squirrels, but we’ve seen everything from ducks to baby skunks.
How do I know which service is right for me?
Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge you’ll need to determine which pest control services are right for you. We understand everyone has a different level of pest tolerance. Often, there are multiple options and approaches available to service your pest control needs and we’re here to help you determine which is best for you.
How long does a service take?
Services can take anywhere from 25 minutes to multiple hours, depending on the severity of the pest infestation or wildlife control issue.
How long does it take to get rid of insects or pests?
The time it takes to eliminate pests can vary depending on a variety of factors. It’s important to understand that often, pest control is not a one-time solution, but rather a process that may require multiple treatments and ongoing maintenance to achieve long-term results.
How often do I need my home sprayed?
The frequency of pest control treatments depends on several factors, type of pest, and severity of the pest infestation. Regular maintenance treatments to prevent pests are commonly treated quarterly or semi-annually.
How long should pest control last?
Our preventative treatments for the most common pest, ants, have a residual effect. This means that the treatment remains active for a certain period after application. How long the preventative pest control treatment lasts can vary depending on the product used, severity of the infestation, and environmental conditions. Typically, you can expect the treatments to last from a few weeks to several months.
Can I get rid of pests or insects on my own?
Sure! You can certainly try. Over-the-counter products can be purchased locally and online. It’s important to read the label and apply the DIY pest control products properly to protect yourself and the environment.
Are DIY sprays and products effective?
They can be as long as they’re used according to the label. In our experience, we’ve found that DIY attempts have actually worsened the infestation or made it more challenging for our pest control specialist if we’re called after failed treatment attempts. You’re welcome to call us for advice.
What products do you use?
At Winni Pest Solutions, we use a variety of products to address different types of pest infestations in New Hampshire. We use insecticides that come in various forms, including sprays, baits, and dust. Rodenticides are used to control rodents, such as rats and mice. Pheromone traps are used for certain types of moths and beetles. For tools and/or application, we typically use sprayers, dusters, bait stations, traps, inspection tools, and protective gear for our pest control specialists.
Is what you’re spraying safe for people and pets?
We make every effort to use safe pest control products, but not all insecticides are safe for people and pets. Avoiding direct contact is an essential safety precaution. Our pest control specialists will advise you of any special considerations prior to treatment.
Do I need pest control in the winter?
In New Hampshire, there are many pests that are active year-round. Rodents, such as mice, are especially mobile in the winter, and we often see lady beetles during this time as well. Our programs take into account the natural rhythms of pests and some do require baiting year-round.
How can I tell if I have a rodent problem?
You may have rodents if you hear scratching or movement in your walls or ceiling. Other indications are chew or bite marks on household items and, of course, if you see a mouse or find an occasional dropping.
What kinds of wildlife do you remove?
Our sister company, Alpha Omega Wildlife Control, provides expert squirrel and bat exclusion services in New Hampshire. They also humanely remove raccoons, porcupines, opossums, birds, rabbits, deer, woodchucks, and other small wildlife species found in New Hampshire.
Do you remove bats?
Yes, bats are the main focus for Alpha Omega Wildlife Control.

Getting Started
How long will this process take?
Our first appointment to inspect your property should take less than an hour. Until we understand the severity of the pest infestation, it’s difficult to provide an estimate. Every client is different and we tailor our services to your specific situation.
Do you give estimates over the phone?
Yes, for general pest issues we’re able to provide ballpark estimates over the phone. It’s always best if we’re able to visit your property and assess the situation to provide the most accurate estimate for our pest control services.
How much do pest control services cost?
Prices can vary greatly depending on the severity of the infestation. That’s why we offer a free pest inspection–with quote–for our new clients.
How much does it cost to remove wildlife?
We refer wildlife work to our sister company, Alpha Omega Wildlife Control. Inspections are free and estimates will be provided at time of the inspection. Just like with pest control services, all situations are different and we tailor our estimates based on the severity and complexity of the wildlife removal situation.
What do I need to do before your team arrives?
Thanks for asking! Preparing for our arrival can help ensure that the pest control treatment process is effective and efficient. Cleaning and decluttering the areas to be treated is a huge help. If the kitchen is to be treated, sealing or storing exposed food is a wise idea. Removing pets from the treatment area is also advised. We’ll provide any special instructions and actions needed prior to your appointment.
Should I leave while you’re treating my property?
Unless we’re doing a special interior pest control treatment, you do not need to leave your property while we are servicing it. We will ask you to stay inside or away from the building while we are treating the exterior.
